Poker Player Murder

pokergun A man was shot recently when assailants burst into his home during a poker game, and later died. 35-year-old Vernon Foster was shot after responding to a knock on the door Mount around 11 p.m. Friday. Two men burst into the in Rocky Mount, North Carolina home and shot Foster during a poker game. The other player, 22-year-old Brian Edwards, ran for help and was pursued. He arrived at a home next door where he and the 61 year old resident of that home were also shot. The assailants are still at large and no motive for the assault on the poker players has yet been put forth.
